The SRPS excursion from Inverurie to Wemyss Bay on 8th September 2012 was headed by WCR Class 47 No. 47786 Roy Castle OBE with its classmate No. 47826 at the rear of the train. Here it is seen leaving the Dalmeny branch onto the Edinburgh/Glasgow (Queen Street) main line at Winchburgh Junction and heading through the wooded cutting towards Linlithgow.
