The Cumbrian Mountain and Coast Statesman tour ran from Aberystwyth to Carlisle on Saturday 8th September 2012, going out via the S&C and returning via the Cumbrian Coast Line. On the return journey West Coast Class 57 No. 57006 takes the train over Leven Viaduct between Ulverston and Grange-over-Sands with Class 47 No. 47580 County of Essex bringing up the rear. The sell-out tour is due to be repeated next weekend.
