Pathfinder Tours The Tay-Forth Centenarian railtour sits at Markinch behind Railfreight coal sector livery Class 26/0s No's. 26005 and 26001 on 14th April 1990. The stop at Markinch was an unscheduled stop due to No. 26005 catching fire while returning to Edinburgh from Dundee and needing the attention of the local fire brigade. The two Class 26s were removed from the train here and dumped in the siding in favour of Class 47 No. 47822 which had earlier hauled the tour from Swindon.
