As part of the Branch Line Society's 'East Midlands Tracker' charter on 26th August 2012, the break at Rowsley South, during the visit to Peak Rail, allowed for a number of trips on the Heritage Shunter Trusts demonstration line. Here EWS-liveried Class 09 No. 09001 is seen departing on the rear of one of these trips, with class 02 No. D2854 leading.
