On the evening of 20th August 2012 First Great Western Class 150 Sprinters No's. 150123 and 150221 have just pulled into the modern St Ives Station. It is a much smaller version than the original curved station, now a carpark, that was closed on 23rd May 1971 and the new straight platform opened on the site of the old goods shed. The units will return to St Erth with the 20:03 service and had been used on the branch all day.
