Proceeding apace is the construction of a pit at what the Nene Valley Railway hope will become Wansford MPD as distinct from their Depot as at present, seen here on 20th August 2012. A fund raising campaign is underway to purchase the Fletton Loop which links the ECML with the Nene Valley Railway at Orton Mere necessary if this aspiration is to be successful.
