Colas Rail Freight Class 56 No. 56094 is now a regular performer on the Washwood Heath to Boston Docks and return workings. It is pictured here on 23rd July 2012 with the return working 6M08 1720 Boston Docks to Washwood Heath, comprising of ten covered steel-carrying wagons. On this day the train had originally been retimed and scheduled to be diverted away from its normal routed due to line problems between Bottesford and Allington. However the diversion was deemed unnecessary so both workings reverted to their former schedules allowing this picture to be captured in the evening sunlight.
