On 20th June 1969, English Electric Type 3 No. D6721 had earlier arrived at London Liverpool St station with a service from Norwich Thorpe. It has been uncoupled from its train. Note the experimental headlights just above the buffer level- a means of making the loco more easily seen by track staff.
