Unexpected arrival at Newcastle on 12th July 1967 was A4 No. 60019 Bittern on a van train, presumably from York, as it was noted at 50A York shed on the 9th July 1967. Photographed from a southbound passenger train hauled by Brush Type 4 No. D1108. No. 60019 was officially withdrawn on 5th September 1966.
