On the 6th June 1992 an Open Day was held at Ashford-Chart Leacon depot. Two of the Eastern Regions finest from bygone days were on display in the form of Class 55 Deltic No. D9000 Royal Scots Grey (on left) and sister No. D9016 Gordon Highlander. What a fine sight they made.
