Class 47 No. 47515 is pictured at Redruth on 21 August 1979, having rescued the proceeding Leeds - Penzance service, which was hauled by Class 46 No. 46014. The peak had failed outside Redruth and the '47' worked both trains to St Erth, where a rescue engine awaited, to take the front train on into Penzance.
