West Coast Railways Class 57 No. 57601 passes Copmanthorpe on 30th June 2012, heading 1Z30 Statesman Rail's 'The Nortumbrian Statesman' from Hereford to Berwick-on-Tweed. Class 47/7 No. 47798 was on the rear of the train. This tour was 'marathon' day out, with a booked departure of 04:26 from Hereford, returning at 22:59.
