Class 56 No. 56312, the former No. 56003, is seen passing through Wigan North Western with 2 ex Virgin Mk2's working as 5Z56 Crewe - Kilmarnock on 25th June 2012. The loco would return the day after with 2 refurbished FGW HST coaches to Laira but would fail with low power at Eden Valley Goods Loop and be rescued by 37612 of which after dropping the Grid at Washwood Heath would take the stock through to Laira
