Passenger Steam Trains have returned to the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Railway, for the first time since the railway was forced to cease operating. Following lengthy negotiations with new land owners the railway now has a 125 year lease of the track bed. Passenger services resumed in early June with newly restored Ker Stuart "Brazil" Class 0-4-2ST 'Leader', originally built for the former Bowater's Railway. Following a break of over 30 years, "Leader" is seen here with a train at Kemsley Down on 17th June 2012.
