On the beautifully sunny morning of 12th May 2012, LMS Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 Nos. 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier and 44871 still have a long day ahead as they run along the South Wales mainline to the west of Pencoed with the Newport to Shrewsbury leg of the Central Wales Explorer.
