With platform two at Orton Mere closed off out of use by the HSE during an alleged incident two weeks previously, Class 55 Deltic No. 55019 departs for Wansford with the 11:00 service on Saturday 19th May 2012. This platform closure effected a two train, rather than a three train, as this is the only non-terminus passing loop on this preserved railway.
