GWR King class 4-6-0 No. 6024 King Edward I made its final mainline run on its current boiler ticket on 17th March 2012, hauling the Torbay Limited from Bristol Temple Meads to Kingswear and back. The sun had dropped below the horizon minutes before the Up train ran past Knapp Farm foot crossing, to the west of Norton Fitzwarren, bang on time.
