Black 5 No. 44941 makes a smoky departure from Loughborough Central on a mid-week 17:15 Nottingham Victoria to Marylebone, 5th May 1966. Note the gap in the buildings where the Ladybird books building was erected, and now closed. The Water Tower is still a feature at this location on the Great Central Railway.
