Track relaying at Pontsarn necessitated freight diversions via Tondu on 8th January 2012. No. 60054 is seen arriving at Tondu with 6H25, 1034 Margam to Llanwern which was the first train over the Margam to Tondu route for some considerable time. Not altogether unexpectedly, the train was heavily delayed due to adhesion problems on the (rusty!) line from Margam.
