With the weather starting to draw in, No. 66843 'Wylam Dilly' certainly adds a splash of colour as it leads a rake of ex-Freightliner HHA bogie coal hoppers onto the main East Coast Mainline at Colton Junction on 16th September 2011. Freight on this particular stretch of the ECML is rare, the more usual route being via Church Fenton and Knottingley, thus departs from the Colton - Shaftsholme junction stretch free for 125mph passenger workings.
