A down Hampton Court train enters Earlsfield station, and is about to pass under the temporary footbridge provided while the entrance to the down platform is closed off for improvement works. The layout of the station means that access to the down platform now requires an extra platform length's walk, plus the footbridge itself, as the old canopies and the recently-installed shelters precluded the bridge being any closer to the entrance.
