Ferromex Class AC440CW, No. 4699 leads two BSNF locos on a Northbound manifest train through Palmer Lake Colorado on 20th September 2011. Under an operating arrangement with BNSF Ferromex locos are now a common sight North of the border. BSNF Class SD70, No. 9255 waits in the siding to assist any failing locomotives running on the single track section between here and Colorado Springs.
