After a day participating in a photo charter organised by the Compo Club, Peckett 0-6-0ST No. 1859 Sir Gomer of 1932 has returned to the Pontypool & Blaenavon's small steam shed to have its fire thrown out. This locomotive and Peckett 0-4-0ST No. 1163 Whitehead of 1908, standing in the background, had both had starring roles in the line's steam gala, held the previous weekend.
