Between Cromford and Middleton, Derbyshire I came across this wonderful little 18 inch gauge 'Steeple Grange Light Railway' which runs for nearly a mile up the old 1 in 30 track bed. This is a genuine BR loco built in 1957 to work on the narrow gauge Horwich works internal system.( sister to 'Wren' in NRM ) No. ZM32 'Horwich' works No. 416214 Ruston & Hornsby 0-4-0 Diesel.
