Deputising for the unavailable steam locomotive, WCR Class 37/7 No. 37706 passes Copmanthorpe on 20th August 2011, hauling the final 'Waverley' of the season. LMS Class 5 No. 44932 was due to replace the diesel at Hellifield for the run to Carlisle. The special passes EWS-liveried Class 66's nos. 66100 & 66207 heading a train of steel slabs.
