LMS Black Five No. 45305 is stabled over the pit at Crewe Heritage Centre on 9th July 2011, awaiting a positioning move, after working the 'Coast to Coast Express' charter on the 2nd July 2011. Built in Newcastle in 1936, and not at Crewe like alot of other Black 5s, this locomotive surely looks right in place among the remnants of the old LMS works just a mile away from this site.
