GW '2251' 0-6-0 No. 2204 coupled to the rear of a Bournemouth to Bath train in Templecombe station the train engine being none other than BR ‘9F’ 2-10-0 92220 ‘Evening Star’ seen on Wednesday 12th September 1962. For those not in the know, the top and tail operation was necessary, to bring the train back into the platform from Templecombe Junction on the Somerset and Dorset main line.
