Class 142 No. 142087 with classmate No. 142039 in tow passes Shipton (just north of York) with a Heaton (Newcastle) - Neville Hill (Leeds) empty stock movement on 14th April 2011. A very similar movement four days earlier had injured a passenger stood on Durham station when a final drive cardan shaft fell off another 142 unit.
