In an all too brief busy period at Beattock 66426 sits in the Up Loop awaiting a path on 4M82 15.56 Coatbridge-Daventry while TPE 185130 disappears into the distance on 17.06 Glasgow Central-Manchester Airport and No. 66427 hammers past north on 4M44 12.18 Daventry-Coatbridge. At least we can console ourselves that the two freights have reduced the incessant roar of Heavy Goods Vehicles on the adjacent M74 by perhaps 50 or so, but the WCML is so under utilised on 4th May 2011.
