Having now reached the end of the line, at Merry Tom Crossing, the driver of Peckett 0-4-0ST No 2104 relinquishes control of the passenger service to the driver of the BR Mk 2 BSOT No. 9102, which after its arrival at Northampton and Lamport Railway was modified to enable the brake compartment end to be used as a Motorman's driving position enabling the line to operate services without the need to 'top & tail'. Seen here during Northampton and Lamport Railways Steam weekend on 25th April 2011.
