The Kent and East Sussex Railway Gala on 30th April 2011 had GWR 4-4-0 No. 3717 City of Truro as the star visiting engine. Here, No. 3717 leads A1X 0-6-0 32678, 0-6-0 pannier tank 1638 and ex SECR Class P, 5753,currently painted in WD livery, during the opening cavalcade, as they start to climb Tenterden Bank.
