EWS-liveried DB Schenker Class 66/0 No. 66079 ‘James Nightall GC’ works the 6T12 engineers train out of Whitemoor, in March, on 30th April 2011. One of only a few Class 66 locomotives to carry a nameplate, it commemorates the actions of LNER fireman James William Nightall, who along with driver Benjamin Gimbert, was awarded the George Cross for his actions during the Soham rail disaster, on 2nd June 1944.
