A superb weeks' holiday at Platform Cottage at Kirkby Stephen station gave plenty of opportunity to observe traffic on the S&C. One of the steady flow of loaded coal trains working flat out to lift the load of approximately 2000 tons up to Ais Gill is headed by Heavyhaul Class 66/5 No. 66510 on 6Z32 10.13 Killoch-Ratcliffe PS as dusk approaches on 21st March 2011.
