In its smart livery of 'Laira Blue', Class 50 No. 50008 'Thunderer' stands outside Castlecroft shed on the East Lancs Railway at Bury on 7th March. No. 50008 was booked to run during the diesel weekend, however on the Sunday it had been stood down and remained 'on shed' all day.
