LNER A4 Pacific No. 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' starts the Julian Riddick memorial train out of York Station on 27th October 1997.The train ran from Hertford to York where 'Sir Nigel Gresley' took over and continued to Newcastle, Carlisle and Skipton. For many years Julian Riddick was the Chairman of the A4 Locomotive Society, and a major driver in the project.
