Having already lost it's '213 Squadron' nameplates, Battle of Britain class No. 34088 stands at Eastleigh mpd on 8th May 1965. The locomotive was one of the batch built by British Railways at Eastleigh in December 1948. It was rebuilt in 1960 and withdrawn in July 1967.
