Replacing the then more usual Class 91 & Mk4 set, GNER liveried HST power car No. 43167 pushes the Intercity liveried Mk3s forming the 07.33 from Bradford Forster Square to King's Cross out of Leeds on 26th April 1997. Today No. 43167 is still working on the East Coast albeit in National Express East Coast livery, it is also renumbered to 43367 and named 'Deltic 50'.
