English Electric Class 40 No. 40145 'East Lancashire Railway', owned by the Class Forty Preservation Society, in large logo livery arrives at Ramsbottom with a train from Rawtenstall on 6th July 2008 during an ELR diesel event. At the time of writing (January 2011) 40145 has been diagnosed with a main generator fault and will be out of action for some time.
