WHR NGG16 Garratt No. 87 sets out from Beddgelert on the long climb to Pont C'aer Gors on an afternoon Hafod-y-Llyn-Caernarfon working. The superb 'Pullman' Observation Car, constructed in the FR Boston Lodge Carriage Workshops, and since named by the Queen 'Glaslyn',is next to the engine which now looks particularly attractive in dark blue livery applied for the start of the 2010 season.
