An unusual but welcome visitor to the ECML is Hastings Diesels Limited's Class 201 DEMU No. 1001, which is seen here forming part of a 6-car set as it approaches the Conington North level crossing with the 1Z44 Hastings to Skegness early autumn charter on the 18th September 2010.
