This Passenger Brake Van, No. BYP6843, was built at York in 1929 at a cost of £922. It was designed with spaces for 40 pigeon baskets, hence a washable floor with side drains. It has been restored by the Midland & Great Northern joint railway Society’s. Seen here at Holt Station on the North Norfolk Railway on 4th September10.
