The Pontypool & Blaenavon Railway held a No. 1960s Transport Gala over the Bank Holiday weekend featuring some buses, coaches and cars from the era as well as the now extended running line. On 30th August 2010 ex-Devonport Dockyard Bagnall 0-4-0ST is passed by D4157 banking a train from Blaenavon High Level to Whistle Stop having just restarted from Furnace Sidings.
