On Thursday 12th August 2010 LMS Royal Scot, No. 46115 - The Scots Guardsman pauses at Platform 5 of York Station with the delayed Scarborough Spa Express. The excursion had previously set out from York behind a WCRC Class 47 after the failure of the rostered engine,5690, Leander. No. 46115 was hastily summoned from Carnforth and it is believed that the loco exchange took place at South Milford.
