BNSF No. 8911 heads a Southbound coal train through Greenland, Colorado on the Northbound track, between Denver and Colorado Springs. On the two days I was in the area the normal Southbound track was under repair, which meant traffic in both directions had to use the Northbound track. The operations were not helped when locos failed both days, causing trains to back up ten miles apart all the way to Denver on 24th June 2010.
