GWR 4073 Class 4-6-0 No. 4079 ‘Pendennis Castle’ undergoing restoration in the workshop at Didcot Railway Centre. Built at the Swindon Works in 1924, No. 4079 was the seventh of the first ten castles to be built, and once proclaimed to be the most powerful passenger express locomitive in the country. Seen here during the GWR 175 Extravaganza event on 8th May 2010.
