While the derailed Class 47/7 No. 47715 remained at Bedale the DMU stock off the 10:25 Leeming Bar - Redmire service was hauled back to Leeming Bar by Class 20 No. 20166. Once the stock was out of the way sleepers and chairs were loaded on a wagon to be taken to Bedale, departing 13:15.
