The Poseidon Adventure: At 10:34 on approach to Bedale station Wensleydale Class 47 No. 47715 derailed while working the 10:25 Leeming Bar - Redmire. NRM 47798 'Prince William' was now trapped and had to work a Redmire - Leyburn shuttle. All 56 passengers on the hauled DMU stock were provided with refreshments until a bus arrived for stations to Redmire. A great day out!.
