GWR Railcar No. 22 seen at Didcot Railway Centre 17th April 2010. Board reads: “Built June 1940 AEC/Swindon. Mainly for branch line services. Swindon Works Lot 1635. This car is powered by two AEC 9.6 litre 105 bhp diesel engines each driving one bogie through Wilson epicyclic gearboxes. This car can haul a 60 ton trailing load. Date withdrawn by BR October1962. Preserved by GWS 1967.â€
