LNER V2 No. 4771 'Green Arrow' passes Holmes Jnct, Rotherham on 21st April 1979 with a York to Dinting charter. The floodlights in the background are at the the Millmoor football ground, currently disused. The spur to the right leads to Booth's scrapyard where a number of diesel locos have been cut up, the line also now provides the connection to Rotherham Central on the former GC line.
