On 11th June 2009 BB 9315 rounds the bay at Peyrefite on the approach to Cerbere with the 07:26 Montpelier- Barcelona Talgo service . At Cerbere a loco will be attached to the rear of the train to propel it through the cross-border tunnel to Port Bou in spain where the gauge of the Talgo vehicles will be changed. The opening of the high speed rail link to Barcelona will see the withdrawal of these services.
